Council Family Outing

Children's Safety Fair

Our council sponsored a Children's Safety Fair for all area kids. We worked with local law enforcement and emergency services as a way to educate the kids and parents in general safety. We had safety demonstrations, bike safety, literature and fun. This was free to attend.

We thank Pittston City Fire Department, Greater Pittston Regional Ambulance, Geisinger Trauma Outreach and McDonalds of Wyoming for helping with the event. The Greater Pittston Regional Ambulance donated a bike and held a raffle. We congratulate Dominck Covello the winner of the bike. Photos can be found here.

Lenten Chowder & Pizza Sale

A small fundraiser we ran during Lent was a Clam Cowder and Pizza Sale. We solicited orders for Manhattan style clam chowder by the quart and par-baked pizza by the tray. Proceeds directly benefited our ability to do charitable works. The first donation from the sale was to our parish.
